Our club is British Model Flying Association affiliated, which means all our members enjoy comprehensive insurance cover for Model flying.

Within this website you will find a wealth of information regarding all aspects of Model flying, from information for basic newcomers who are considering taking up model flying and not sure what sort of Model to obtain to experienced flyers wanting to progress through the BMFA Achievements schemes.

In “Our Club” pages there are all the relevant documents, from our club rules to the CAA legal items, there are also links to the BMFA pages, news bulletins, interactive quizzes for those wishing to further their ability and obtain Model flying certificates in all the various disciplines, fixed wing, helicopters or multi-rotors. There are YouTube links and club members can upload their own favourite pictures to share.

currently have around 46 members, We fly at our beautiful countryside site at Jeremy Lane near Glasson Dock, South of Lancaster, and cater for all aspects of flying, fixed wing ( Power or Gliders, several of our members visit nearby slope soaring sites), Helicopters and the new developing Multi rotors or Drones. We have two Qualified instructors/examiners and a club trainer plane for those new to the hobby, operated on a “Buddy Box System”, there are also several club instructors on hand to give help and advice where requested, we don’t have a requirement for members to hold BMFA certification, it’s optional but we encourage the BMFA achiements scheme.
During the Winter season we fly indoors at Lancaster & Morecambe College, on Thursday evenings in the small sports hall, we fly Small Helis, Quadcopters and Small Electric Planes, FPV with the Tiny Whoop Quads is very popular this season, Indoor Flying is part of LAMMAC but is Financed separately, members, or Guests pay a small entry fee per visit, spectators are free. The indoor sessions finish in March when lighter nights are upon us and we can fly outdoors.
During the summer season, Wednesday is nominated as “Club Night” when, weather permitting there is a good attendance at the field, come along and visit us!.
We fly at Jeremy Lane 363 days per year, no flying Christmas Day or Boxing Day, please checkout “Our Club” for all the latest rules and permitted flying times.
