Lancaster & Morecambe Model Aircraft Club operates from a flat and open countryside site, at Jeremy Lane near Glasson Dock, about 6 miles south of Lancaster, just off the A588.

We currently have about 40-50 members and new members are always welcome

We cater for all levels of ability, from beginner to expert, and our members take part in most aspects of flying including Fixed Wing (glow, petrol and electric power), Gliders (several of our members visit nearby slope soaring sites), Helicopters and Multirotors. We are registered with the BMFA as a Drone Friendly Club.

Our club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA), which means all our members enjoy comprehensive insurance cover for model flying.

We have several club instructors on hand to give help and advice where requested. We encourage club members to take part in the BMFA Achievement Scheme but it is entirely optional.

During the summer season, Wednesday is nominated as “Club Night” when, weather permitting, there is a good attendance at the field from late afternoon onwards, so please come along and visit us!.

We fly at Jeremy Lane 363 days per year (no flying on Christmas Day or Boxing Day). Full details of flying times and field safety rules can be found in the Club Documents page.
